Dance PT

Our Approach

Dancers of all styles and levels, from recreational to professional, dealing with recurring injuries, pain during dance, or trying to prevent future setbacks while performing at their best.

  • We understand how dancers move, because we dance too!

We combine hands-on manual therapy, dance-specific movement analysis, and progressive strength training to address the root cause of your injury without pulling you off the dance floor longer than necessary.

We also work on the nervous system component of pain so fear and recurrent pain doesn't hold you back from dancing freely.

    • Ankle sprains and instability

    • Hip pain and labral tears

    • Stress fractures

    • Low back pain

    • Knee pain

    • Hypermobility

    • Post-injury return-to-dance fear

  • 60-minute 1-on-1 personalized sessions with your DPT. We assess your technique, identify main contributors to your injury, reduce pain and expedite healing with manual therapy, and build a strength training plan tailored for you to return-to-dance within your style and goals.

  • This model allows us to provide you with the highest standard of care without insurance restrictions. In-network clinics often cannot offer manual therapy, health coaching, or personalized treatment plans due to insurance limitations. Being Out-of-Network allows us  to use the most effective, evidence-based treatments—including hands-on manual therapy, stress management, sleep coaching, and pain education combined with strength training—to give you unparalleled care.

  • RISE Performance & Health is an out-of-network provider, which means we do not directly bill insurance for you. You are responsible for payment in full at the time of service. If you have out-of-network benefits, you may submit the superbills we provide to your insurance company for partial reimbursement. You remain financially responsible regardless of whether you receive reimbursement.

  • Yes! Many of our clients receive partial reimbursement from their insurance companies by submitting the superbills we provide after each session. The amount varies by plan. We strongly recommend verifying your out-of-network benefits before your first session.

    • Auto insurance: If you're seeking care under an auto claim, RISE can bill your auto insurance directly with and active and verified auto-claim with a claim manager, or we provide superbills for you to submit.

    • L&I claims: RISE accepts Washington State L&I claims. You must have an open and verified claim number prior to your first session.

  • Yes! We accept HSA and FSA payments for all services.

  • Call your insurance company or check your online portal before your first session and ask:

    1. Do I have out-of-network benefits for physical therapy?

    2. What percentage of the cost will I be responsible for?

    3. Do I have a deductible, and can I get reimbursed before meeting it?

    4. Do I need a physician referral for out-of-network physical therapy reimbursement?

    5. How do I submit superbills for out-of-network claims?
